i've changed my oil on almost every single vehicle i've owned. I've also changed my spark plugs on my Z about 4-5 times now, i've taken the rear panel off and done my tail lights 3-4 times now, i've removed the rear hatch platics about 10 times, i've helped install the dual intake, i've put my own chips in previously, i've corrected my NOS when it went bad, i've been there for the instal and LEARNED how to do the t-timer, boost controller, underpulley, IC's, Midpipes, exhuast, NOS, etc - i mean bro - thats a stupid fucking question!! I'll be the 1st to admit (and always do) that i am not mechanically gifted - never have been and am only learning as i watch and be part of the install. I would hate to see me do my own Tbelt and blow my engine - so i paid a tt.net member to do it (Kaz) and watched him do it, and thats basically how i've had almost every mod done. Do i find a need now to change my own oil - no - i dont take the time/effort to do it when i can go over to my mechanic and give him 25 for getting dirty - big deal - i've done it in the past - I'M LAZY and i admit it - but dont try a petty call out like that by asking if even change my own oil.
I've been part of and been right there watching or helping for almost every single part of my Z's upgrades. I can do a decent amount of things on my Z and cant do others - i installed all my own toggles and wired them myself for my NOS which some people wouldnt know how to do, i've done my spark plugs a ton of times which again some people wouldnt know how to do - but the key is i learned how to do this while watching others who ARE SKILLED do it first. Also another point - because of that i had almost every single upgrade done by a TTnet member(s) and paid them all more than they asked for - go ahead ask why that matters - i'll tell you why cuz each member that helped that i paid for their services was able to use that money to put something new they've wanted into their Z. I hate people like you that think only mechanically inclined people deserve a nice car and assume people dont or cant do as much as you. I'd allow you to give me a little shit if i went and dropped X amount of money on a Z that was already as modded as mine and then claimed i'd done it all - but the truth is i've taken my Z from a stock looking stgI when i bought it to what it is now and have been part of every step. Have you done that?
